right, so we're now heading off to the hike tonight, so that we are awake, there are ready to go at 6am. This unfortunately means I can't go and see Potter tonight :( However now scouts have broken up for summer, I have more evenings free, so hopefully we'll be able to go and see it next week. Let's face it, it's not like we don't know what happens!
So hiking.
We start at 6am, we're apparently aiming for 24 hours (the time limit is 30) which means we need to average just over 4kmp/h to make it. Which is quite easy considering my normal walking pace is abut 6kmp/h. So it allows time for rest stops, and the inevitable slow down at 3am. Just a remider that the website is http://www.oxfam.org.uk/get_involved/fun
draise/trailwalker/index.html and you can sponsor us at http://original.justgiving.com/theoxfamt
railwalkers/
for your viewing pleasure, here is the route map:

It's basically, Petersfield (just outside Portsmouth - green star) to Burgess Hill via Shoreham, then to Lewis and finish at Brighton racecourse (yellow star)
I'll be thinking of you all over the weekend, so everyone please keep thinking good luck thoughs! And can all of my lovely Pagan buddies ask the earth very nicely for a little less rain please? pretty please?! with a eco-friendly cherry on top?!!
I'll give you all a lovely update on Sunday. After I've had a bath.
